A couple of years ago I read about Walthers HO scale Plymouth ML-8, a tiny 4 wheel critter that was reported to be a great runner, with factory DCC and a keep alive. At the time, they were hard to find, but early this year Walthers announced a new production run. I ordered one, and it finally came in this week.
Lambert Locomotive Works made an On30 critter body a few years ago. I don't know whether it's still available, but I plan to look into it. I found these photos on Facebook, of a build by David Wingrove.
