I added some vegetation to the creek bed and the hillside behind the engine house.
A couple of Woodland Scenics trees, ground foam of several shades and textures. The sage is grey fake fur with coarse ground foam, sprayed with Vallejo Grey-Green paint. The clumps of tall grass or reeds are bristles from a cheap paintbrush. The small green clumps of grass are a commercial product I got from Amazon.
