My wife and I made a trip to Colorado a few weeks ago to ride the Durango & Silverton narrow gauge, something I've wanted to do pretty much my whole life. Lots of ideas and inspiration for my modeling.
I really want to build an excursion train. I have a couple of Bachmann passenger cars painted green and lettered for the Lockwood & San Emigdio, but I'm thinking for use on the Frazier Borate I need to get some shorty cars. I will probably order an 18 foot excursion car kit and a combine from Mount Blue Models as a starting point.
This just makes it that much more likely that if/when I build a larger layout, it will be On30.
